After the great success of the 2019 vintage, Rosa Caolino 2020 is about to get released!

We make this romantic wine with handpicked grapes of Corinto Nero coming from a vineyard that is just above the Kaolin Quarries, which represent the most important paleontological site of the Aeolian Islands. 

After a soft pressing, the must is fermented in stainless steel tanks by indigenous yeasts and remain in contact with its fine lees for 6 months. 

The 2020 vintage was characterized by an exceptional quality of the grapes, thanks to a favorable climatic condition during the ripening season and during the harvest, which took place in the first days of September. 

Our Rosa Caolino is a versatile wine with a distinct volcanic personality, both intense and salty. It pairs very well with a traditional Aeolian pasta, or a fish soup. Only 2.000 bottles were made.
