Casa Pomice is completely surrounded by the vineyard, along one of the many paths that connect the Estate ( 5 minutes walking distance from the Winery entrance )  in front of one of the cultivations of caper plants that, without respire from autumn to spring, are in ferment with their wonderful flowers and fruits.

The elegant style, perfect in every detail, characterizes the welcoming micro-residence with precious furnishings, which was created in one of the most suggestive corners of the entire Tenuta di Castellaro.

The characteristic lava stone bathroom overlooks Gelso Vineyard, where our trees give the right privacy.

Pumice House is on two floors and it can accommodate up to four people.

We dedicated Tenuta di Castellaro to the area that welcomed us. Pumice is a typical stone from Lipari: it derives from the cooling and subsequent solidification of the lava. 

We can find the unmistakable color of the Pumice in our first white wine, flagship of the winery, and in the first white house, which stands out among the colours of the surrounding nature.

Casa Caolino benefits from a wonderful position surrounded by Alta Vineyard ( 8 minutes wlaking distance from the Winery entrance ). It is literally camouflaged among the beautiful flowered armed lands, where the entrance appears as if by magic. 

From here it is possible to see the whole estate, which offers unique scents and colours from sunrise to sunset.

It can accommodate up to two people. The lava stone bathroom overlooks the outdoor bathtub through a large window.

A large bedroom with elegant furnishings overlooks the large patio to always feel immersed in the tranquillity of nature.

Like our Kaolin Pink, this unusual micro-residence is reminiscent of the characteristic polychromy of the Kaolin Quarries, a historic site that represents the geologically oldest part of Lipari: an open-air museum where nature and memory intertwine in an unparalleled spectacle.

Casa Caolino merges into the silence of the vineyard to live a fabulous environment.
