Rosa Caolino is born from the vineyards that rest on the ancient Quarries of Kaolin, from a sandy soil rich in minerals, where ancient smokers have given color to the rocks and paths creating an exhilarating polychromy.
This is the only rosè wine of our territory. It is mostly made with Corinto Nero grapes plus a little percentage of the other red varieties we have in Lipari. It maintains the freshness and drinkability of a white, without losing the body and the bouquet of a red produced by those grapes.
Rosa Caolino appears magnetic and clear to the eye, thanks to the repeated racking. The taste is complex and elegant, characterized by strong hints of red fruits and the excellent balance between persistence and minerality.
